Tips for Writing a Strong Abstract

Are you submitting an abstract to the 2024 Annual Meeting? Review the expert guidance from the SBC WG Steering Group shared during our "Writing a Strong Abstract" Webinar.

During the webinar, participants heard guidance for writing each section of a strong abstract and compared strong and weak abstract examples. A well-written abstract adds up to create a whole product that tells a cohesive story, with each section building on the prior section.

Abstract Formula

Remember: The entire abstract must stand alone! The reader should not need any external information to fully appreciate the work. This is the magic to writing a strong abstract!
